Ways To Add Privacy To Your Yard
Would you love to add some privacy to your backyard? Whether you have nosy neighbors, live on a corner lot that everyone driving by can see into, or you hear noise from a nearby major roadway, it is not uncommon to add elements to your yard to help with privacy. Not only does it make your yard more private and enjoyable, but it can also add value to your home as well. We want to share some creative ways that we have seen clients add privacy to their yards.
Install a Fence
There are a number of different style fences that can make a big difference to your property. Of course there is the popular vinyl or wooden fence that you may already see around your neighborhood. One of the benefits of this style fence is that you can choose the color and style of the fence. A living fence is also a unique idea. You can choose a plant material and use it to surround your property. Over time, it will grow to create wonderful privacy. This option is more beneficial to property owners who are not in a rush for privacy.
Make it Modern
If you enjoy more of a modern design style, there are a number of cement or steel options. These designs look wonderful when paired with a fire pit and outdoor seating is added.
Add a Pergola or Lanai
By adding an additional structure to your yard, you can create additional privacy. When adding a pergola, greenery, flowers and plants can be used to block unwanted eyes and disturbing sounds. The same can be said with adding a lanai. Solid walls can be made to block unwanted views.
Before making any changes to your yard, we can come and mark all of the sprinkler heads and check the lines. We can also come and reinspect following any work you may have done to your property. We would hate for you to make beautiful improvements to your yard and deal with damage to your irrigation system. If you are interested in inspecting, updating or adding an irrigation system, we would love to hear from you. We are proud to have served Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, and Citrus counties for over 25 years.
