Enjoy Outdoor Space This Fall
We are lucky that we live in an area of the country that experiences mild weather during the fall and winter. After the heat we experienced over the summer and beginning of the fall, we cannot wait to enjoy some cooler temperatures. We know that it was difficult to enjoy the outdoors during the summer this year. Since we are lucky to have milder weather, we can comfortably enjoy an outdoor living space throughout the fall and winter to make up for the time missed during the summer. We want to share some tips that can help you enjoy your outdoor living space during this time of year:
Add a Fire Pit or Outdoor Heater
Although we do have enjoyable weather during the fall and winter, it can get chilly when the sun goes down. If you like to sit outside, a fire pit or outdoor heater can be the perfect addition to keep you warm. There are many different size options and designs that can fit into any space you have. Depending on your comfort level, you can use a wood-burning heater or choose a propane option. It is also important to check with your neighborhood to see if there are any rules or restrictions.
Create an Outdoor Movie Experience
Inflatable movie screens and projectors are hugely popular. With so many streaming services available, it is extremely easy to watch movies and television outdoors. Many options do not need to be permanently placed in your yard and can be removed between uses. This makes it easy to enjoy watching TV in your yard with your family as well as enjoying your outdoor space.
Protect Your Irrigation System
Before you make any changes to your outdoor living space, it is important to look at the placement of your sprinkler heads to ensure they do not need to be moved or will become damaged. Be sure to contact us at Challenger Irrigation if you need any assistance with your irrigation system. We can also help install a new system if you have added landscaping that will need to be watered.
